James Cameron’s long-awaited project, Avatar, has finally received its date of release. Don’t hold your breath tho. We’re talking Memorial Day weekend in 2009.

For those who want to start standing in line – good luck. Bring a tent. Maybe two. Gonna be a loooong wait…

And yes, It’s confirmed – Sigourney Weaver will play the role of a scientist. That’s right. Jim Cameron and Sigourney Weaver in a sci-fi/action/epic – again. Ladies and gentlemen – this could be huge.
