Bruce Willis to star in The Surrogates

Welcome back movie lovers! Your favourite movie news source is ready for another exciting week of news and rumors from the movie-making Mecca of the world. To start of the week in the right way I’m gonna drop the latest on Bruce Willis. The man, the myth, the legend. Anyway, Variety reports that Bruce Willis will star in “The Surrogates,” a sci-fi thriller that Jonathan Mostow will direct.

Story is set in the near future, where humans live in isolation and interact vicariously through surrogate robots who are better-looking versions of themselves. Willis plays a cop who, through his surrogate, investigates the murders of others’ surrogates. The cop is forced to venture from his own home for the first time in years and unravels a conspiracy.

Michael Ferris and John Brancato scripted “The Surrogates” based on a graphic novel from Top Shelf Comix. They collaborated with Mostow on the last film he directed, “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines” (2003). The scribes also wrote “Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.”

The studio is eyeing a February production start in Boston.

I was watching TV last night and I saw some footage from the 90′s, back when Bruce and Demi still was married… I’m so glad he finally accepted his receding hairline and just shaved his head. He had this thing for hats about 10-15 years ago. It wasn’t pretty…
