Carlos Bernard pulls off a Bobby in 24

Even though this is a movie blog I sometimes write about popular TV-series and today is one of these days. Bear with me pleae. Dark Horizons reports that despite seemingly being killed off last year, Carlos Bernard is set to return as Tony Almeida for all of the new season of FOX’s “24“.

Executive producer Howard Gordon confirms that Tony’s resurrection is “something, obviously, we’re going to have to explain away… It’s not the what of it, but the how, that’s interesting.”

Could Reiko Aylesworth be making a similar appearance as Michelle Dessler? “No, she’s definitely six feet under.”

This time around, the show moves to Washington D.C, where Bauer is facing trial for his extreme actions in the pursuit of justice.

Isn’t it fantastic how people can just come back, whenever they feel like it, in TV-series… And how we, the audience just accepts it. I remember the TV-series Dallas and the Bobby-in-the-shower situation… The producers decided to make the whole of season seven a dream. So Pam woke up and Bobby was alive , it had all been her nightmare. A whole season was suddenly a dream… That’s priceless…
