Chow Yun-FatIsn’t it time for some manga? Yeah, I think so. I woke up this morning and I had this feeling… Something is missing. I’ve posted about films from every genre out there but it’s been some time since I mentioned something “manga-ish“. Luckely, there’s some news on Dragonball so the wait is over.

Dark Horizons reports that Chow Yun-Fat has joined the cast of 20th Century Fox’s live-action adaptation of “Dragonball.”

The film, directed by James Wong, follows Goku (played by Justin Chatwin), a warrior alien who protects the Earth from an endless stream of rogues bent on dominating the universe and controlling mystical objects known as Dragon Balls.

Chow will play Master Roshi, Goku’s mentor who helps him achieve the highest state of fighting and spiritual powers.

“Dragonball” is shooting in Mexico City and Los Angeles.
