I read this little piece of news over at Dark Horizons. At first glance it wasn’t that big of a deal but the time machine part, and especially the “transported to 1987″-part made me interested. Being born in the 70′s makes me very 80′s nostalgic. Any movie with flashbacks and music from the decade of big hairs and shoulder pads is OK in my book.
What movie, what are you talking about? Read on… The word is that actor John Cusack and Rob Corddry have joined the comedy “Hot Tub Time Machine.“ Craig Robinson and Clark Duke are in negotiations to co-star.
Scripted by Josh Heald, the comedy follows a group of friends who are frustrated when they return to a ski lodge where they partied as teens. They then get in a hot tub – which happens to be a time machine – and get transported to 1987. That could happen! You never know with hot tubs…
Cusack, Corddry and Robinson are the three best friends, while Duke is playing Cusack’s younger brother.
Steve Pink is directing and filming is set to start April 20th in Vancouver.
