David Schwimmer is back

Does anyone remember David Schwimmer? The guy from “Friends“? Ring a bell? Maybe? Well, he has been mostly absent from the big screen since “Friends” ended in 2004. He did voice the giraffe character in Madagascar, but hasn’t taken on many flesh and blood roles. But, apparently he’s venturing back into your nearest multiplex in a political thriller called “Nothing but the Truth”.

Cinema Blend reports that Schwimmer will play the husband of a newspaper reporter, played by Kate Beckinsale, who outs a CIA agent and then goes to prison for not revealing her source. Other cast members include Matt Dillon, Vera Farmiga, Edie Falco, and Alan Alda.

Hopefully this movie will give Schwimmer the opportunity rub elbows with the Creme de la Creme of Hollywood on a regular basis.
