It’s time to catch up on Mr. Leonardo DiCaprio’s latest endeavors. I realized that it’s impossible to run a movie blog and not write something about DiCaprio once in a while. And don’t get me wrong, the guy is a fantastic actor but sometimes it gets a little too much if you constantly post about the really big names. I try my best to give you a balanced news report on the Hollywood “movie making circus.” With that said – here’s the latest movie news:
According to Variety, Paramount Pictures has snapped up a pitch titled “Atari,” with Hollywood hunk Leo attached to star. The project is a biopic about entrepreneur Nolan Bushnell, the creator of Atari and one of the founding fathers of the video game industry.
Bushnell co-founded Atari with Ted Dabney in 1972 and were instrumental in bringing arcade games, home video game consoles and home computers to the masses. Among the company’s contributions were Pong and one of the most successful consoles in history - Atari 2600.
Currently DiCaprio is shooting Martin Scorsese’s “Shutter Island”.
