Favreau, Reno and Vaughn in Couples Retreat

I think we could all use some light, warm comedy news today. How about some words on the upcoming movie “Couples Retreat“? It’s a movie centered around four couples who settle into a tropical-island resort for a vacation. While one of the couples is there to work on the marriage, the others fail to realize that participation in the resort’s therapy sessions is not optional.

Variety reports that two big names star in this Universal comedy; Jon Favreau and Vince Vaughn. And, to top it of, Jean Reno will play a therapist and operator of the resort. Also starring is among others; Malin Akerman,  Jason Bateman and Kristin Davis. Great cast!

Favreau penned the script and Peter Billingsley is directing the movie. Vince Vaughn is producing together with Scott Stuber. The movie is in pre-production right now and filming is scheduled to begin shortly.

Seems like a sweet little movie. You can’t really go wrong with Vince.
