It’s Jackie time! Yes, how can you NOT like this martial arts-stunt-daredevil extraordinaire? Exactly, the man is pure… entertainment! The Press Association reports that Jackie Chan finally has revealed details of his forthcoming $25 million movie “Big Soldier.”
The Hong Kong actor said the epic will focus on the story of three people and a horse. Jackie has written the script as well as starring in and producing the film.
The production crew are currently filming in Beijing, having wrapped up in Yunnan province.
The action star has previously been very tight-lipped about the project but at a press conference this week, he gave away some of the plot.
“The film is set during the Warring States Period. I play a big soldier, and Lee-Hom Wang plays a junior soldier. It’s an action picture with black humour plus a bit of romance.”
Sheng Ding is directing.
