Justin Timberlake joins The Love Guru

Dark Horizons reports that Mike Myers upcoming comedy “The Love Guru“, with an already star packed cast, will get another big name to join the ensemble: Justin “Alpha Dog” Timberlake. 

In the comedy, the Love Guru (Myers) – an American raised by gurus who moves back to the U.S. to get into the self-help business – is challenged to settle a rift between a Toronto Maple Leafs star hockey player (Romany Malco), and his estranged wife.

After the split, the wife starts dating L.A. Kings star Jacques Grande (Timberlake) out of revenge. This sends her husband into a major professional skid, to the horror of the team owner (Jessica Alba) and coach (Verne Troyer).

The shooting begins next month in Toronto. A June 20th 2008 release is planned.
