Night at the Museum 2I just read that while Thomas Lennon and Ben Garant talked about their latest comedy “Balls of Fury“, they confirmed to Dark Horizons that they have just started to work on the script for “Night at the Museum 2″.

Without disclosing any plot details the duo still confirmed “there’ll be existing characters and plenty of new ones“.

Already signed from the original, that grossed over $500 million worldwide at the box-office, are Ben Stiller and Robin Williams.

We can only hope that Owen will sign on too. His contribution as Jedediah in “Night at the Museum” really took the movie to another level. I’m not sure Robin William brought that much to the movie though…

But hey, the whole thing worked and I’m glad they are making a sequel. I just hope they will give some resemblance to a story this time too. As always when “they” decide to make a sequel it’s the smell of new money that instigates the whole thing.
