Samuel L. JacksonIt’s Friday! Oh joy! To end the week in a “proper way” I was thinking that we need a very special kind of news… How about a suspense thriller with a very charismatic actor in the lead role.

Hey, as it happens, I got one just like that just waiting to be announced to all of you. Talk about luck…

The Hollywood Reporter tells us that Samuel L. Jackson is set to star and Gregor Jordan is slated to direct a suspense thriller titled “Unthinkable.”

In the story, a major threat is posed to the U.S. when the locations of three nuclear devices are shrouded in secrecy by a single terrorist. With only two days before they are deployed, a black-ops interrogator (played by Jackson) and a female FBI agent (not yet cast) have to decide how far they will go to find the weapons.

Principal photography is scheduled to begin Sept. 2 in Michigan.

I just love Sam Jackson. His choice in movies on the other hand… His agent/adviser should be little more careful with the projects being presented to Mr. Jackson. Non the less, Sam always shines on the silver screen. He brings so much intensity to all his movies. Well, except “Snakes on a Plane” (2006)…

Anyway, keep an eye out for “Unthinkable”. Due out sometime next year. Hopefully.
