Who dies in Sex and the City?

I’m sure this will upset some of you but this is the essence of movie news reporting. Sort of. Anyway, Dark Horizons reports that a (main?)character will die in the upcoming “Sex and the City” movie. Yes, that is correct – someone close to Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) will die. Still, this could be a relative to her, or maybe an old friend, from the past. Let’s not jump to conclusions, shall we?

Cynthia Nixon (Miranda) indicates that a major point of the plot is that Carrie is left grief-stricken by a tragic event early on. “There’s a loss that happens that’s pretty tough. Something significant happens to Carrie, and it really forces her to ask questions that you have to ask about yourself.”

Parker had previously indicated that the film will deal with some serious storylines. Basically, all we know is that someone close to Carrie dies. It could be her janitor. Given they are very close. I guess…
